A Benchmarking Visit From Tanzania Revenue Authority

The Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MoF) was honoured to host a delegation from the Ministry of Finance and the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) for a benchmarking visit. The delegation was led by Mr. William Michael Mhoja, Commissioner for Policy Analysis Department, Ministry of Finance, the United Republic of Tanzania.
The engagement focused on exchanging best practices in modernising tax administration, optimizing revenue collection, and leveraging digital governance to enhance operational efficiency. The 2 days visit includes the visits and discussion with MoF and the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).
This visit marks another milestone in strengthening South-South cooperation and deepening bilateral relations between Malaysia and Tanzania. We hope the productive exchange of ideas will enrich both our nations.
