The Pocket Social Program

The Pocket Social Program was conducted as part of the ASEAN 2025 engagements.

Participants enjoyed an insightful experience at Fort Cornwallis on 18 and 21 February 2025, where they were introduced to traditional techniques and materials used in the conservation of the historic site, originally built in the late 18th century.

Meanwhile, the Pocket Social Program on 19 February 2025 was successfully conducted, starting with a briefing at Think City’s UAB office, followed by a visit to Union Square.

Upon arrival at UAB, participants were welcomed with Ais Tingkap, a well-known local drink.

During the briefing, delegates were introduced to nature-based solutions aimed at adapting to climate challenges through green elements that mitigate rising temperatures. The visit also showcased initiatives like pocket parks and a heat camera demonstration to highlight the impact of urban heat.
