In line with the fluctuations in global oil prices, the Government has agreed to reduce the retail prices of non-subsidised RON95 by 2 sen to RM2.52 per litre, RON97 reduce by 3 sen to RM 3.08 per litre and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia by 5 sen to RM2.84 per litre from 15 January 2026 to 21 January 2026.
The Government will continue to review and adjust petrol RON95, RON97 and diesel retail prices in line with movements in the current global oil markets. Even so, price stability remains the foremost priority.
Using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, retail prices for petroleum products from 15 January 2026 to 21 January 2026 are:
