Retail Price Of Diesel Raised By 3 Sen From 10 July 2025 To 16 July 2025

Retail Price Of Diesel Raised By 3 Sen From 10 July 2025 To 16 July 2025

In line with the recent climb in global oil prices, the Government has set the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia at RM2.88 per litre. The retail price remains lower than the RM3.35 per litre price when it was first floated on 10 June 2024.

The Government will continue to monitor market developments and adjust diesel’s retail price based on global oil market fluctuations, whilst supporting price stability.

Therefore, based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, the retail prices of petroleum products from 10 July 2025 to 16 July 2025 are fixed as follows:

  1. the retail price of RON97 petrol remains unchanged at at RM3.18 per litre;
  2. the retail price of RON95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.05 per litre;
  3. the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia is increased by 3 sen per litre from RM2.85 per litre to RM2.88 per litre; and
  4. the retail price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

The Government will continue to take appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare and well-being of the people.
