In line with the recent climb in global oil prices, the Government has set the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia at RM2.94 per litre. The retail price remains lower than the RM3.35 per litre price when it was first floated on 10 June 2024.
The Government will continue to monitor market developments and adjust diesel’s retail price based on global oil market fluctuations, whilst supporting price stability.
Therefore, based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, the retail prices of petroleum products from 7 August 2025 to 13 August 2025 are fixed as follows:
The Government will continue to monitor global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare and well-being of the people.
