Retail Price of Petroleum Products From 25 September 2025 To 29 September 2025

On 22 September 2025, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister and Finance Minister, announced that starting from 30 September 2025, Malaysia will transition to a targeted subsidy system for RON95 petrol, known as BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95), for the rakyat’s benefit.

Based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, the retail prices of petroleum products from 25 September 2025 to 29 September 2025 are fixed as follows:

1. the retail price of RON97 petrol remains unchanged at RM3.21 per litre;
   
   
2. the retail price of RON95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.05 per litre;
   
   
3. the retail price of RON95 petrol for The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) personnel under the BUDI95 Programme is set at RM1.99 per litre, effective 27 September 2025;
   
   
4. the retail price of RON95 petrol for Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) recipients under BUDI95 Programme is set at RM1.99 per litre, effective 28 September 2025;
   
   
5. the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia remains unchanged at RM2.93 per litre; and
   
   
6. the retail price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

The Government will continue to monitor global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare and well-being of the people.
