Retail Price Of RON97 And Diesel Raised By 3 Sen From 18 September 2025 To 24 September 2025

In line with the recent climb in global oil prices, the Government has set the retail price of RON97 at RM3.21 per litre, whilst that of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia is set at RM2.93 per litre. The retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia remains lower than the RM3.35 per litre price when it was first floated on 10 June 2024.

The Government will continue to monitor market developments and adjust RON97 and diesel’s retail prices based on global oil market fluctuations, whilst supporting price stability.

Therefore, based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, the retail prices of petroleum products from 18 September 2025 to 24 September 2025 are fixed as follows:

1. the retail price of RON97 petrol is increased by 3 sen per litre from RM3.18 per litre to RM3.21 per litre;
   
   
2. the retail price of RON95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.05 per litre;
   
   
3. the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia is increased by 3 sen per litre from RM2.90 per litre to RM2.93 per litre; and
   
   
4. the retail price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

The Government will continue to monitor global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare and well-being of the people.
